What you are buying

A ranked listing on a public page: your name, one line of copy, an outbound link and a public click counter. That is the entire product. It is an advertising placement. It is an ad buy, not a bet.

What you are not buying

Transport. There is no ark, no rocket, no launch and no seat on any vehicle. The European Ark Authority does not exist. Nothing here is affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any real authority, agency, company or laboratory.

Two of every kind

Every kind has 2 berths on the upper deck. Within a kind, berths go to the highest totals. If a kind is full, the only way on is to beat the lower of its two occupants, who is then jettisoned into the hold.

The hold

There is no limit on the hold. Anyone may board it for the minimum, at any time, however full the ark is. A hold listing carries the same name, line, link and public click counter as a berth — it simply is not on the drawing and has no berth number. Passengers rise from the hold to the upper deck automatically the moment their total beats the weaker occupant of their kind.

So the two berths cap how many listings are prominent. They do not cap how many people can board, and they do not cap what the ark takes.

What the link is

Outbound links carry rel="sponsored". That is the attribute a paid link is supposed to have, and it is what search engines ask for. You are buying people who click, not ranking signal; anybody selling you the second thing is selling you a penalty on your own domain as well as theirs.

There is no draw

No lottery, no raffle, no randomness, no prize. Rank is a pure function of confirmed money contributed. A chance element would make this a game of chance under the Dutch Kansspelwet and the German Glücksspielstaatsvertrag. It is not one.

Payment processing and taxes

Card payments are processed by Stripe. The final amount, including any applicable taxes configured by the merchant, is shown before payment is confirmed. Payment data is handled under Stripe's own privacy and security terms.

Either way

If the Authority is wrong about the end of the world, your listing stays live and you have bought advertising. If it is right, you have also bought advertising. This symmetry is the strongest guarantee available to anyone in 2026.

Refunds

Contributions are not refundable once a listing is live, because the listing is delivered immediately. Listings removed for breaching the content rules are refunded in full.

Content rules

No impersonation of real people or organisations, no illegal or adult material, no malware, no hate. Breaches are removed and refunded.

Why now

In September 2026 a safety researcher at a frontier AI lab resigned publicly, warning that companies are racing toward self-improving superintelligence; serving researchers at the same lab went on the record putting the chance of human extinction from AI above ten percent within the decade. It was covered by NPR, the Washington Post and Fortune.

In the same season the European Union deferred the AI Act's obligations for standalone high-risk systems from 2 August 2026 to 2 December 2027.

One institution says the building may be on fire. The other has moved the fire drill to 2027. This site sells advertising in the gap between them.
